WANT TO BE A caloundra markets STALLHOLDER?

STALLHOLDER APPLICATIONS

To become a Stallholder, applications must be submitted below by clicking the APPLY NOW button.

We endeavour to review applications within two weeks of receipt, with the applicant notified via email of the outcome. If the application is accepted, the applicant will be invited to provide anticipated trading dates which will accommodated where possible. It is often necessary for applicants to be placed on our waiting list if we cannot accommodate the product or service at that time. If this occurs, the applicant will be asked if they wish to be notified of future availabilities. At times, an application may be rejected if the product, service or stall presentation does not align with that expected at the Caloundra Street Fair or if there is no impending availability in that category.

For our weekly events, invoices for casual stallholders are sent a week prior to the booking date. These are due for payment by Tuesday (AFM) or Wednesday (CSF), to confirm the booking.

For our monthly events, invoices are sent after each event for the next scheduled one. Payment is due two weeks prior to Market day.

Any payment made after this day the due day / date may incur a late payment fee. If a booking is cancelled after payment is made no refund will be offered. At the discretion of Market Management, a credit will be offered to trade at our next event. Consistent late payments may result in a booking no longer being offered. Market Management reserves the right to cancel a market or stallholder attendance at any time.

EQUIPMENT

Stallholders must provide their own equipment including gazebo and display items. All equipment must be in good repair and well presented. As our events are outdoor and in a coastal environment, a minimum of 3 x 15kg weights are required for each gazebo at all times, irrespective of the weather forecast or current conditions. Food vendors must ensure a ground cover is used to ensure and spills do not stain the area.

All electrical equipment must have a current test and tag at all times.

Please ensure your site and products are tidy, safe and well presented at all times. Tablecloths are to be used and signage promoting your business is highly recommended. Signs must be erected safely, not impede pedestrian flows and contain no offensive material.

ATTENDANCE AND WEATHER CONDITIONS

Our markets are all-weather markets and are advertised to the public as operating ‘rain, hail or shine’. We will operate irrespective of weather conditions, unless it is deemed unsafe to do so.  Inclement weather is no excuse for non-attendance.  Once a site is booked, stallholders have an obligation to attend the market.  This is not only paramount to the success of the market but also supports fellow stallholders who trade and rely heavily on the market as a source of income. It is the stallholder’s responsibility to ensure their product is protected and that they have all the necessary equipment on hand to do so (i.e. gazebo sides, awnings, weights to secure gazebo etc).

Management requires that all stallholders plan against adverse weather conditions such as rain, wind, cold and heat, and ensure that appropriate safety and wet weather procedures are in place. Market Management, its operator/s, servants, agents and/or assigns shall not be liable for loss or damage to stock and/or equipment however caused.

RUBBISH

All rubbish must be removed from site by stallholders and not placed into the fixed bins.

DAMAGES

Any damage found to equipment, landscaping or infrastructure will be the charged to the person/s responsible.
