The Caloundra Chamber of Commerce has a long-standing legacy of not only supporting local business, but actively helping drive the local economy through the success of the Caloundra Markets. Generating more than $20 million in economic impact, the markets have become far more than a place to shop - they are a vital part of the community fabric and an important platform for small business growth.

From local market vendors and fresh produce operators to cafés, breweries, distilleries, boutiques and retail stores, the markets help create opportunity, visibility and flow-on trade across the entire region. They attract both locals and visitors into our town centres, encouraging people to stay longer, explore more and support surrounding businesses. The markets also provide an important platform for local entertainment, giving emerging buskers and musicians an opportunity to perform, build confidence, grow an audience and, in many cases, transition into paid performers and professional entertainers. That live music and street atmosphere adds to the overall experience and energy of the markets, helping create the vibrant community feel people return for week after week.
