For one night in November, the Caloundra Twilight Markets will leave the usual spot on the esplanade and come up the hill into Bulcock Street. The whole street will transform into a festive night market to kick off the Christmas season on the Sunshine Coast and also see the official lighting of Caloundra’s Christmas tree once the sun goes down.

It is the last Friday of the month, so expect the Twilight market highlights with live entertainment, food trucks, retail stores but with a very different setting and a whole lot of festive cheer. Don’t miss this one.
Instead of the Esplanade and the Passage, you’ll get shopfronts lit up along both sides with late night shopping for those early Christmas gift hunters, food trucks lining the street, live entertainment.

Come early and make a night of it. Bulcock Street’s cafés, restaurants and bars are open alongside the market stalls, so there is no shortage of dinner options before the tree lights up. Bring the kids, walk the street, and start the Christmas shopping somewhere better than a shopping centre car park.
Stalls will operate along Bulcock street with handmade gifts, homewares, jewellery, plants, produce and Christmas fare – the sort of thing worth buying for someone rather than settling for from Westfield. The street closes from late afternoon while stalls set up, so plan for parking a little further out than usual and enjoy the walk in.
